Sure, you turned out pretty good, but is there anything you wish had been different about your childhood? If you have kids, is there anything you wish were different for them?
This was me as a kid:
I turned out pretty good so I really don’t wish to change about my childhood. As being a part of the middle-class population, I have experienced all things a child would want to. I am not the kid who grew up being spoiled or that kid with a game boy or playstation but I’m the kid who played outside when it rains and someone who played with mud, paper dolls, boats and planes. I have climbed lots of trees and slept on a branch. I did some Christmas caroling with my friends, played Chinese garter, patintero, tumbang preso and piko. I also have my own Barbie, kitchen set, doctor set and doll house. As for my parents, I am glad they were just moderate on being strict to me and my siblings.
Changing my childhood probably won’t even be at my list of to-do’s because I am happy. And if even I become a parent, I would want my child experience the same things I did. I would even play with him/her! And that’s what I’ll do to revisit my childhood. Experience them all again because you really have to treasure and you will surely miss childhood.
